A YF-S201 inline water-flow sensor with G1/2 threads that produces Hall-effect pulses proportional to flow rate, typically around 450 pulses per litre over a 1 to 30 L/min range. A microcontroller counts the pulses to derive flow rate and total volume for irrigation, dispensing and consumption logging.
