About this product
The TSOP1738 is a three-pin infrared receiver that integrates a photodetector, preamplifier, band-pass filter, automatic gain control, and demodulator for 38 kHz remote-control signals. Its active-low output connects straight to a microcontroller pin for decoding burst-coded remote protocols. Older Vishay TSOP17-series documentation specifies a 4.5 to 5.5 V supply.
