About this product
The MQ-6 is a heated tin-dioxide gas sensor with high sensitivity to LPG and propane, cited for a 300-10,000 ppm propane detection range and a 5 V heater. A load resistor converts its changing conductivity into an analog voltage that a microcontroller can read. Calibration and a warm-up period are required, and it suits experimental domestic or industrial leak alarms.
