MQ-5 heated tin dioxide gas sensor with sensitivity to LPG, propane, methane and butane over a quoted 300-10,000 ppm test range. The analog output suits gas-leak alarm prototypes and ventilation experiments once the element has been preheated and calibrated. Cross-sensitivity means it is not a selective detector.
