About this product
The MQ-3 is a heated tin-dioxide semiconductor gas sensor module for detecting ethanol and alcohol vapour. Its concentration-dependent resistance is read as an analog voltage across a load resistor, with calibration required for quantitative measurement. Temperature, humidity, and warm-up time affect readings, so it is not a certified breathalyser.
