A flammable gas and smoke sensor module using the MQ-2 tin-dioxide element, whose conductivity changes in the presence of combustible gases and smoke. The specified detection range for flammable gases runs from 300 ppm to 10000 ppm, with an analog output and an adjustable threshold digital output for a microcontroller. Burn-in and calibration are needed and the sensor is not selective between gases.
