The MJE3055T is a 60 V, 10 A NPN silicon power transistor in a TO-220 package, used for power switching and general-purpose amplifier stages. It is the complement of the MJE2955T PNP device, which suits push-pull and bridge output arrangements. Operation must remain within the safe operating area, and the tab normally needs heatsinking.
