A quadruple half-H driver IC whose four channels form two H-bridges, enough for two bidirectional DC motors or one bipolar stepper. Output clamp diodes deal with inductive kickback, and separate logic and motor supply pins let a 5 V controller switch a higher motor voltage. PWM on the enable pins provides speed control.
