About this product
A reflective infrared sensor module that emits IR light and detects nearby objects from the light returned to its receiver. A potentiometer sets the detection threshold and a digital output signals a microcontroller, making it useful for obstacle avoidance, line following, and presence detection. Detection distance varies with object colour, angle, and ambient infrared light, so testing in the final installation is advised.
