The AMS1117-3.3 is a low-dropout linear regulator with a fixed 3.3 V output, usually supplied in an SOT-223 surface-mount package. It regulates a higher DC input down for embedded boards, ESP modules and other low-voltage digital circuits, with input and output capacitors required for stability.
